It's cute and small cheesecake shop with many great cheesecake options; from classic, strawberry, salted caramel to more unique flavors like banana, Dulche de Leche, red velvet, etc. The staff are very friendly and patient as it gets busy at times and the lineup needs to move fast with indecisive people. This legendary bakery is serving up delicious cheesecakes and it's the best cheesecake I've had to date. Eileen's has both whole cheesecakes as well as mini cheesecakes that you can order with a huge variety of flavors to choose from! I went for a classic flavor and chose to get the strawberry cheesecake. The crust wasn't dry and the texture was crumbly and a little airy and not too dense. The strawberry on top was fresh and it was a nice light desert overall. Service was fantastic and the staff were so kind and helpful with any questions I had and there was a decent amount of people in line when I arrived but I was in and out in few minutes. The interior of the bakery is charming and inviting and everyone I met enjoyed their cheesecakes they had bought. If you are in NYC, you have to stop by Eileen's for some cheesecake, it's so good! They have so much to offer and you can't really go wrong with any of their flavors.

Cute little bakery, a little pricey for what you get, but the pastries all look almost too good to eat. You can buy your treats and enjoy them outside across the street at Lt. Petrosino Square. Strawberry cheesecake was $6, flavor wasn't anything extraordinary, but the service was very welcoming and kind.

I like cheesecake but I usually don't go finding good cheesecake. Had a friend in town who wanted to check out Eileen's so we went. I was surprised at how cheesy their cheesecakes were without being too sweet or too overwhelming. The cake itself was also more "crumby" and airy. The crust was very solid which a nice crunch, although I wish it had more of a crust to cake ratio. I liked how the sizes were on the smaller size so its easier to try different flavors. Not a huge fruit fan, so we got the salted caramel which felt like a creme brulee on the outside. Staff were friendly and to tourists which I thought was very cute. The store itself is small but some seating is available inside and they have a bench outside as well.

I'm usually not a huge cheesecake fan, because I find them super rich, dense, and just a bit overwhelming. We were walking by this place, and decided to quickly stop for a bite, and got one mini cheesecake to split. It really blew my expectations out of the water, as the cheesecake was very light and practically airy. Not too sweet at all, and I really felt like I could go for multiple slices of this cheesecake, which is a rarity. Will definitely be back to try the many other flavors they have!

Best cheesecake I've tried in nyc! I've tried both their full cheesecakes, as well as the mini cheesecake tarts ($6 each)! The cheesecakes were very decadent, and I am personally partial to the mini cheesecake for the ratio of filling to crust. They have many flavors, and I've tried the raspberry and salted caramel so far. I've also bought the gluten free cheesecake and heard that it was great. I highly recommend the salted caramel cheesecake. The service was friendly. We took the cheesecakes to-go, as there isn't really any seating inside of the bakery. I would definitely come back again to try the lemon cheesecake!

Eileen's Special Cheesecake is an iconic NY bakery. I had seen this place on social media several years ago and bookmarked it for a future visit. I finally got a chance to taste it for myself a couple of months ago. It's been open since 1974 and celebrities love to get their NY Cheesecake fix from here. I personally like Eileen's better than Junior's Cheesecake. I love that they have mini size cheesecakes, it's perfect for tourists who just want to sample their goods without having to purchase a full-size cake. I got a Strawberry Cheesecake which was perfection! Make sure to make this a stop on your NYC bucket list!

What isn't there to love about Eileen's? The plain cheesecake is tried and true and always our go to given it is not too sweet. The crust/base is super thin so you get maximum cream cheese filling which is super rich and decadent. Every bite feels like you're eating a cloud given how smooth and creamy it is. The coconut and salted caramel were good too but i think the consensus was the plain one is just perfection.
